A FINAL NOTE
on loss, presence, and staying
This year took away many of my certainties.
In return, it taught me how to recognize what remains.
There were moments of reckoning, when I realized that the work holds even when everything else begins to falter. Moments of returning to the ground, to slower time, to listening. And moments of rupture, when an idea of the future dissolved and I was left asking what love truly means when you lose everything.
Then came places and people that asked for no explanations. Spaces where nothing had to be proven, only inhabited. Within that quiet sense of welcome, I found direction again, along with presence and trust.
And, without being sought, a new love arrived.
Gentle and true, stepping in quietly at the exact moment I had learned how to stay.
It was not an easy year.
It was a true one.
I carry gratitude for those who remained, for those who walked alongside me even in silence, for those who believe in the value of slow time and in things made with care.
I do not look at the year ahead as a promise but as a continuation.
An invitation to document, to observe, to remain faithful to what matters.
To those reading, my wish is simple.
May you recognize what sustains you.
And may you have the courage to let go of everything else.
See you on the other side of time.

Good luck, Francesco. If you do good to life, life will do good to you too.
Beautiful Francesco, just beautiful!
